Tell us about ChromaWay and what motivated its founding.
ChromaWay was founded in 2014 with the vision of introducing relational blockchain technology called Postchain. Postchain has proven to be an excellent platform for private corporate blockchain applications.
Since then, both our team and vision have expanded significantly. In addition to our work with ChromaWay as a private company, we have also introduced Chromia, a public platform with a rapidly growing ecosystem.
Our goal is to provide transparent solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce exploitation, delivering user-friendly blockchain applications that bring genuine value to society.
What products or services does ChromaWay focus on? How do your services differ from others in the market?
Chromia is our public blockchain protocol, and its defining feature is the combination of blockchain security with the data handling power and flexibility of a relational database. Unlike many existing blockchains that store and handle data inefficiently, making them incompatible with large-scale applications like online banking and social media, Chromia addresses this issue.
Furthermore, we utilize an innovative consensus model that eliminates the need for mining and significantly reduces the energy consumption and carbon footprint of our blockchain.
Additionally, we will soon launch Originals, our NFT protocol, which stands out from existing ones with its dynamic, evolvable, mutable, attachable, and almost fee-free features.

ChromaWay boasts a global and diverse team of over 150 individuals from various parts of the world. Founded by a small group of individuals, our team represents more than 20 different countries and speaks over 30 languages.
Can you share your professional experience with us?
My professional journey aligns with many who have found success in their careers. It involves focus, hard work, the ability to learn and work smart, and dedication. I started my career as a field engineer in the oil and gas industry.
Working in the oil and gas industry taught me effective communication with diverse groups of people, considering factors such as profession, skills, education, culture, gender, language, and more. It also strengthened my resilience as a woman in a male-dominated industry.
After a few years, I felt disconnected from the direction I wanted to take in life, which was to make a positive impact on the world. This led me to shift to the tech industry, where I founded a travel tech company that later transitioned into fintech. Eventually, I found myself immersed in the world of finance and blockchain in 2015.
Today, as a blockchain solution architect and the Chief Solutions Officer at ChromaWay, I have had the privilege to design blockchain solutions across various industries and collaborate with brilliant individuals. I also lecture and conduct research on blockchain adoption at Halmstad University in South Sweden.
What are the significant achievements in your business journey?
My greatest accomplishment is the self-assurance and belief that I am on the right path. Additionally, I take pride in being a strong, independent, and empowered mother, raising a daughter who is also empowered.
I have also been recognized as one of the top 10 influential women in technology by AnalyticsInsight in 2021 and one of the 21 women in blockchain you should know by FintechReview in the same year. In 2019, I was named one of the top 50 most powerful women on LinkedIn.
1. Is there any exciting project you would like to highlight?
Two exciting ventures that deserve mention are the launch of a blockchain-based game and My Neighbour Alice. The concept for My Neighbour Alice emerged in 2020, and the ALICE coin was introduced on Binance in March of the same year.
The game aims to be an open-world, cooperative building game similar to “Animal Crossing.” The project’s objective is to create a play-to-earn blockchain game that appeals to casual players by prioritizing a user-friendly interface and mobile integration.
Continuous development has taken place since 2021, and the first alpha season release is anticipated in Q2 of this year.
With an expanded development and operations team, we have recently published a new roadmap, and we are thrilled to accelerate towards delivering a blockchain game that can bridge the gap and appeal to both crypto and non-crypto users.
2. Do you have a favorite quote?
Among my many favorite quotes, one that resonates with me is: “Technology is as good as us, humans.” It emphasizes that technology can be a force for positive change if used for the betterment of society. However, it’s crucial to recognize that not everyone shares the same goal of betterment.
