Tell us about your process so far.

My professional field was human resources, but as we travelled through Asia, it became harder for me to continue in my line of work. If all else were equal, Emily Rogers would have invested a considerable amount of money in associations, schools, and humanitarian efforts. Until she came to a point when she could no longer constantly assess herself. When Emily Rogers met Amel Derragui at Tandem Nomads, she was inspired to start her own small business, one that would draw on both her professional and personal experiences, but more importantly, one that would continue no matter where she lived.

What were the fundamental issues you encountered?

Any entrepreneur will agree that there is a high expectation for learning and adapting when you first start out. From innovations to marketing, from services offered to clients to week after week happy production, everything has improved. There are moments when everything seems overwhelming, but then you get a client who says, “You’ve transformed me,” and all the good and bad days are worth the effort!

I make an effort to approach each test as an opportunity to learn something new, try something different, and broaden my range of skills. It becomes really difficult to stay on track and keep moving forward if we allow the challenges to defeat us.

What is the reason for your well-known success?

People gauge development in different ways, and while I have received grants, what matters most to me is that I have made a positive impact on my clients’ lives. I’m passionate about trying to improve the lives of parents who are living abroad, helping them to adjust successfully, and ensuring the well-being of their families. With so many international projects constantly failing, there is not only a financial cost but also a significant and prosperity cost to the family. If Emily Rogers is successful in preventing that letdown and ensuring the success of the family, then she has been successful.

What services or products does Expat Parenting Abroad focus on? What sets your services apart from those that are searching?

Emily Rogers supports and provides training for two centre projects. The first is particularly unique because, despite the fact that there are many experts in the field, no one else focuses on helping parents make sure their families are successful.

Families Thriving Abroad is a programme that works in little steps to speed up a family’s relocation, whether it be their first or fifth relocation. There are easy procedures they can take to ensure the family thrives, regardless of whether they work for privately owned enterprises, a conciliation centre, or the provided administrations.

Launch Life is a programme that helps people who are looking for something more in their lives, who have lost their zeal, their motivation, or their direction. The outcome is amazing to the person, and it might be to restart their career, learn a new skill, volunteer, or even start a business. The key is that frequently they don’t know where to start or what they could do, and I help them find that.

Additionally, Emily Rogers provides personalised training programmes that address each individual’s needs. Some of the points have included helping parents of a young child through character assessments, a working mother in need of improvement, a single parent to have a superior relationship, and family localization. The topics for instruction are endless, but the common trait is seeking assistance in order to know how to advance and take action.

How would you decide to persuade people to buy your goods or use your services?

Emily Rogers invested money on a new platform in 2021 that will let her expand and scale her services so she can provide training and support to people in-person no matter where they are on the earth. Whether I am standing up for 10 people or 1,000 people, this stage enables me to publicly support them in a meaningful way.

If it’s not too much bother, could you please tell us about your professional experience at some point?

My professional background was in human resources, and I worked for many companies in the hospitality, FMCG, assembly, government sector, and professional services sectors. Emily Rogers participated in many positions and had the wonderful opportunity to work with the entire spectrum of HR capabilities, most recently my local job which included training ranking directors.

Moving frequently throughout Asia, dealing with language barriers, etc. made it harder and harder for me to operate from a conventional standpoint. After retraining with WIAL, Emily Rogers advised and coached leaders across industries, winning the 2015 Global Coach of the Year award.

In addition, Emily Rogers showed initiative in the various organisations she participated in, such as serving on the Board of the international school where our young women enrolled. I consider it a benefit that I can now combine my professional experiences with my personal ones in order to better serve my clients.

What kind of attention would you give your representatives? What distinguishes your group as unique?

I’m now taking care of myself. I have an amazing responsibility partner that supports me each week to stay motivated and on track. I also collaborate with Amel Derragui, my business coach.

Through my programme Kickstart Life, I help people rediscover their needs in life who have lost sight of them, who are tired of living a daily existence that is satisfying. The good changes people can make in their lives through the bit by bit approach are quite powerful, which is why I find this job to be extremely satisfying. Emily Rogers just received the following feedback from a client:

Everything at Expat Parenting Abroad is centred around the family, which is also my core conviction. I am now a better mother and person overall as a result of going into company. I continually show my daughters that it is possible to balance parenthood and business, that it can be done well, and that it can both support you and your family financially as well as your clients.

What should businesses focus on most, in your opinion, in order to remain relevant in the market following the Covid19 episode?

According to Emily Rogers, the pandemic has exposed our collective frailty. In the future, businesses must make sure they are considering the immediate and actual success of their kin and customers. A concerted effort should be made to actually think about and value one another as individuals. We can all recover and thrive after the epidemic if organisations can set the example.

How should the nation’s most advanced women in business, in your opinion?

Women fight so bravely and often, especially when they are mothers. We vacillate between the two pillars of uncertainty and accountability. We doubt whether we have the ability, the energy, and the potential to get better. Then comes responsibility that we don’t have enough of, guilt that we invest outside of the family, and obligation that is unfulfilled. These two pillars of support frequently prevent new ideas and keep us tied to what we have continuously understood.

In order to promote women in business, we want to do additional things to assist them in overcoming these two stumbling blocks and regaining confidence. This might happen through conversation, narration, or exchanging experiences. establishing networks for women who have a vision for business, creating safe havens for sharing, and praising excellent models.

I advise every woman who reads this and wonders if it will work for her to “play more.” Decide what you want, then start acting as if you had it.

What are your thoughts on the competition?

No matter how “occupied” life becomes, I tend to stay focused on my strengths. Making sure that my clients and I are paying attention to the important things and not stressing about the little things will help us to keep moving forward.
